Don Hancey is recognised as one of Western Australia’s most dynamic and innovative chefs for his brilliant ability of pairing regional produce and premium Australian wines with gastronomical results!

Don’s 30-year strong career has included management and catering for prestigious wineries such as Cape Mentelle, Voyager Estate, Howard Park, Cullens and West Cape Howe.

At this year’s Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience, Don will be treating the Kimberley Fine Diamonds Corporate Circle to the finest fresh, local produce and bringing it all to life with engaging cooking techniques – a mouth watering sensation not to be missed.

Lights, Camera, Action...

John Farnham’s visit to Kununurra is no longer our little secret - the word is out and spreading like wild fire! Igniting the flames is:

  • The fabulous new Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster and Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience 2010 TV commercials which started on GWN last Sunday;
  • An extensive multi media campaign with the West Australian including:
    - press advertising in Seven Days magazine, Music Today, The Kimberley Echo and Broome Advertiser;
    - Online advertising and editorial on thewest.com.au;
    - A great competition for readers;
  • Kicking off on 29th March, a radio campaign with REDFM;
  • Multi media campaign with NT Times (online and press);
  • Posters and flyers being distributed throughout Perth and the region.

So be sure to keep your eye out!

Sara Storer | The Golden Girl

Sara Storer is the most awarded female artist in Australian country music history, having swept away all before her when she took home 7 Golden Guitars on one amazing night in 2004! Since then Sara has gone on to cement her place as one of Australia’s most important singer / songwriters.

She even counts Australian music icon Paul Kelly among her fans: "Sara’s songs are grounded in real stories. You know she’s paid attention, heard the bush waking up in the morning, listened to the worries thrashed out at the kitchen table, smelt dry summer wheat up close, dreamed of faraway places in a bedroom with a window on a big sky, driven miles on dirt and bitumen and fallen in and out of love."

Mellen Spotting!

23-25 March will see a few ‘Mellens’ hitting the streets of Kununurra. Be sure to keep your eye out for these faces and say g’day:

Nikki Graski – Event Manager
Claire Parker – Commercial Manager
Aaron Gill – Site Manager
Barry Brody – Production Manager
