James Blundell
James began his association with the Kimberley Moon Experience in 2003 as the headline performer together with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra. Since then, James has returned almost every year to participate in the Ord Valley Muster.
An accomplished musician and avid story teller, James has been credited with nine Golden Guitar awards and four ARIA award nominations. He was the first local country artist to create an impact on the mainstream pop charts and his duet with James Reyne was one of the biggest-selling singles of 1992. James was the first Australian country act to sign to a major label recording deal via Nashville in the USA.
In 2009, James Blundell will lead the proceedings at the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience as Master of Ceremonies.
