Singer songwriter and guitarist Jim McClelland, his brother Belly (harmonica) and Sandra (bass guitarist and wife of Jim) were born and bred in Australia’s remote west. Together with Malaysian born Arun Satgunasingam, (drummer & percussionist) their music has been described as a sweet combination of blues / roots / surf and funk.

Blue Shaddy enjoyed the Number One spot on the Perth Indie Charts in May 2007 with the release of their album Walk a Mile. They have also received a Blue Star Award for Best instrumentalist, Belly McClelland and have performed at many festivals and events across Australia.
