It is fair to say a muster would not be complete without a rodeo and the annual Station Challenge Rodeo is a feast for anyone who wants to witness the thrill and excitement of a bull-bucking, dust-raising, cowboy get together in the true outback.
You’ll be glued to your seat as you watch the cowboys try to ride the 8 seconds in events such as Saddle Bronc, Bull ride, Bareback and Station Buckjump.
Competitors travel from as far a field as Broome and Katherine to take part in this annual showdown. After the dust has settled you’ll join competitors, spectators and organisers for a beer at the bar and you’ll be able to kick your heels up and enjoy the music until late. A fully licensed bar and food will be available to purchase at the grounds.
