From the heart of El Questro, to the heights of the Bastion and everything in between, you never know what you’ll discover during this year’s 4WD Adventure Bash. Follow the clues, bribe the checkpoint marshals and create diversions for your fellow competitors, all in pursuit of being crowned the East Kimberley Tours and Rotary 4WD Adventure Bash Champion!
With a $7000 prize kitty – creating a theme and dressing-up for the Bash has never been more rewarding. Pack your lunch, drinks, bribe money, map, and some patience, and get ready to explore the amazing surrounding landscape, Kimberley style. You’ll have no idea where you’re going until you get there!
Afterwards, enjoy a BBQ on the banks of Lake Kununurra as this year’s awards and prizes are presented to our intrepid adventurers!

Garnduwa Ord Valley Muster Basketball Carnival

The Garnduwa Basketball Carnival brings together teenagers from remote Kimberley communities for a weekend of friendly basketball competition. Witness the region’s talented players compete in the annual round robin clash, enjoy the three point shoot-out competition, slam dunk contest and children’s games. The finals will be held on Sunday, with the grand final commencing at noon.

A special treat for the kids, the annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic includes story time, a teddy bear hospital, face painting and more for children of all ages and their cuddly friends. Come along and join in the family fun!

A partnership between the Shire of Wynhdam East Kimberley, MG Corporation and Gelganyem Trust, the award-winning Sharing Our Stories is a popular Muster highlight for locals and visitors.
Storytelling, as a traditional medium, has long been used to facilitate understanding and knowledge. Hear stories from local indigenous people as they recount their experiences growing up in the Ord Valley and explain the importance of the surrounding landscape and local community.
A scrumptious champagne brunch will be served as you enjoy the majestic scenery of the Ord River and Lake Kununurra.
