Make the most of the early morning and join experienced guide and local poet, Wendy Carter on a tour through the stunning Mirima National Park.
Located just two kilometres north of Kununurra, Mirima is an enchanted world of stunning rock formations, wildlife and Aboriginal art.
Each walk is between 3 and 5km in length with occassional steep climbs and descents through rugged terrain. So if you are of reasonable fitness and an early riser - why not discover Kununurra on foot. You will need boots or covered in footwear, water (carried in a backpack) and long trousers or gaiters. Your boots may get wet and muddy on some walks - but we promise, the effort will be worth the reward.

Owned and operated by the Legune Pastoral Company, Legune Station is situated on the Northern Territory, Western Australian border, with the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf in the north, the Keep River in the west and the Victoria River in the east.
The progressive nature of Legune Pastoral Company has seen the station grow rapidly over the last eight years, reclaiming land from saline coastal flats for grazing. Legune is a working station, boasting more than 35,000 head of cattle on the 306,000 hectare property. They use biodiversity techniques to sustain the natural systems of the land, applying wet season spell grazing to build capacity.
Its location is as remote as it is beautiful and a tour of this intriguing business at the northern most point of Western Australia is a must do for landscape and agricultural lovers.
